Alana and Alyssa
Alana De La Garza is a stunning actress who has left a lasting impression on the screen. In the year 1976 De La Garza was born to a Mexican-American father and an Irish-American mother in Columbus Ohio. The family moved to Texas for the purpose of pursuing a career as an exercise physiotherapist at the University of Texas. De La Garza did not reside in Texas for long and soon moved in Orlando Florida, where she took on a number of roles as an actor including independent local films and commercials. Despite her small roles, she quickly discovered her passion for acting. Then she moved into New York and in 2001 she got her first acting gig on the daytime soap show All My Children as Rosa Santos. Her roles were sporadic on JAG The Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men at the beginning of 2000. In 2004 she was selected for her first role in a series in The Mountain, the short-lived drama on television. De La Garza starred as Maria Serrano alongside top TV celebrities like Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley, Anson Mount, and Mitch Pileggi. Her most memorable performance came in 2006 on Law & Order where she appeared as A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. She was featured in 85 episodes. Her character then flocked to the spin-off show that lasted only a few episodes Law & Order: LA. This particular character earned De La Garza several nominations such as Best Supporting Actress - Television by the Imagen Foundation Awards and even several ALMA Award noms. In addition, the National Hispanic Media Coalition awarded the Impact Award, which is presented to outstanding performers in the drama TV series. De La Garza was then assigned as a regular actor in CSI Miami. She was cast as Marisol Delko, who is the wife of David Caruso's Horatio. She played Dr. Lena Solis in NBC's dramatic dark series Do No Harm. The show was cancelled after two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. Her parents are an Italian father and a younger brother Cory that is one years older than her. She was raised in the strictest and most religious family. Milano started her acting career at the age of seven old. She was accompanied by her babysitter along to an audition. Her audition was amidst over 1000 applicants. Her audition was taken to be one of the four girls. Milano was featured in TV commercials and off-Broadway shows including the very first American musical version to Jane Eyre.
